Single Mom

Amanda

All I’ve ever wanted was a baby of my own. I recently (with in a year) found out I am positive for BRCA-1 (the breast cancer gene). So in the last 9 months I had a breast reduction, total bilateral mastectomy and finally implant reconstruction surgery. I don’t have a boyfriend/husband and not really looking. Just want a baby. Along with the high risk of breast cancer comes with a high risk of cervical, ovarian and other cancers. So drs want to work on that half after 35, so I only have 2.5 years left really to make a baby! I’m also overweight, are the fertility doctors just going to laugh and tell me no they won’t help? I don’t want to take no as an answer.
