To IUI or not IUI on first medicated cycle

Hi, I’m currently diagnosed with “unexplained infertility” (gag). All of my testing has come back normal, my cycle is slightly irregular in that it varies in length. My husbands semen analysis was normal, except his morphology was a little low at 2.9%. My fertility doctor set our next cycle to be letrozole, trigger, IUI, then progesterone. This is our first medicated cycle. My husband is weary of IUI because he feels like he isn’t contributing like he should to making a baby. Any feedback on IUI is appreciated, but I’m mainly wondering if we should start our first month with no IUI then maybe building to that since my husband isn’t 100% on board.
