How accurate are 20 week anatomy/gender scans? We ended up having two, one with mfm (at 21 wks) and they both said girl in the report. Had two growth scans at 30 and 34 weeks and little bub’s legs have been closed tight 🤦🏻‍♀️

The tech said her best guess at 30 weeks would be girl.

We didn’t end up doing the nipt testing because of some pretty heavy bleeding and SCH issues at the beginning, did the quad screen instead.

I’m just up awake in the middle of the night at 34w reading too much and second guessing everything.

Do you think we can rely on those 20/21w scans? I honestly would be thrilled with a boy too! But there has been a lot of “girl” stuff bought and we have no boy names picked out yet either!

Am I just totally overthinking things and should go to bed? Is it too late for a private scan? Or even worth it since this peanut’s legs have been crossed for weeks and it’s only getting tighter in there?

I wish I could have just seen a potty shot for myself!
