Trying together Pregnant for six months now and it’s just not working

I’ve been trying to get pregnant now for six months I am an older woman I’m 41 I did have a son when I was 22 and I’m just craving for that little girl if it’s a little boy to I’d be happy I am with an older gentleman he’s 73 and he has the best sex life with me that I’ve ever had. I was in shock he keeps himself fit, But the only thing that I’m not really happy but he said every night before bed he has a hard time sleeping and he does have a couple glasses to drink I’m wondering if this would impact us getting pregnant and along with that comes a cigarette or two or three I’m sure it can’t be good but I’m hoping to get pregnant soon thanks for letting me share my story even though it short
