Should I call or see if it continues? TMI blood clot

Question

So I am 8 days postpartum today.  Last night and today I've passed large blood clots like this one. I had been bleeding pretty lightly till about a day or two ago and it seemed to pick up.  Nothing where I'm soaking through a pad though.  Would you call or wait to see if this continues since it's a Friday? I haven't had a clot like this since the day after my son was born and then it was only one.

My doctor told me if it’s bigger than a golf ball then you need to call

My doctor said bigger than a toonie, you need to go in. If you can break it up with your fingers (as gross as it sounds) it's just a blood clot but if not then I'd be scares it's a piece of retained placenta
