Ttc after implanon/arm rod contraception removal?

Im looking to get my implanon/contraception rod out of my arm very soon and to start ttc 2nd bub, I know everyone is different but im just purely curious if anyone has had the rod removed and how long it took to fall pregnant after removal 🥰

Just from being in this app for a while it seems like it takes a little while after the implant for people to conceive. That could just be a skewed perception tho!

I had the implant for six years and when I had it removed, it only took a month for my cycles to regulate. That being said, we’ve been TTC for almost a year now. No idea if there’s a correlation, but like you said it’s likely very body dependent. Baby dust ✨

Still trying 2.5 years later and now have post birth control pcos from the implanon took one year after removal to ovulate (never had any issues before I got the implant) I have no cyst no thyroid issues no hormones imbalance just symptoms of pcos. Currently on 850mg metformin to keep cycles regular as I wouldn’t get a period only every 16/20 weeks. I know many women now who have had the same issue as well on here and in real life. However I do also know many women can fall pregnant really fast after implant removal even before their first period but just wanted to make you aware that it not true that your gonna be very fertile after removal like a lot of websites or even doctors say as it doesn’t happen for everyone wish I had this knowledge before hand.
