CCTV in bathrooms

So a company a friend of mine works at recently changed gendered bathrooms to gender neutral (stalls only). The boss also installed CCTV in the bathrooms, pointing to the entry/exit door from 2 angles, nothing else can be seen. The reason was to provide extra security for female employees due to the sudden change.

The employees are split between being ok with it and not, there some are threatening resignation unless they're taken down.

So my question is: would you be ok with your workplace installing CCTV in the bathrooms?

Bonus questions:

-Does anyone work for a company that already has this?

-If you agree, do you think they should be installed in public bathrooms too?
