C Section or VBAC for second child?

Hi all

For those of you who had a c section for your first child, will you opt for another c section for second child or try for VBAC?

My c section was an emergency one after 24 hours in labour.

My OB told me if you wait less then 18 months to get pregnant again from first c section, then I will have to have a c section as your chances of uterine rupture are too high.

I wanted to see what others have chosen for their second child and their reason (assuming you weren’t forced to do another c section due to getting pregnant so soon after first one).
