Irregular periods and getting pregnant!!
Okay so my husband and I are going to start trying for a baby around August/September. I had my annual gynecologist appointment today and was telling my doctor we want to start trying soon. I got off the birth control pill last September, so it’s been close to a year now. My periods come monthly, however they are 26-30 or 35 days apart. My doctor said there is a possibility that I don’t ovulate since my periods cycle varies by some days. She told me to test for ovulation so I ordered some tests on Amazon.
My first question to you all is, does anyone have irregular periods or periods that are regular as far as getting them monthly but having them irregular in the days you’re expecting them? And if so have you had luck getting pregnant on your own?
My second question is how do you read ovulation tests?? They are so confusing to me. From everything I’ve read on them they seem harder to read than a regular pregnancy test.
I’m so worried I won’t be able to ovulate on my own. Especially since I was on the birth control pill for 8 years.
