What’s your biggest texting pet peeve?

Mine has GOT to be when when you text someone a message or a question, which clearly requires a response, and the person doesn’t respond! The amount of times I’ve had texting conversations with people, and I respond with someone that deserves a response, and they just never reply is countless. I find it so soooo rude, like I’m making the effort to keep the conversation going, and then get completely ghosted. What’s your texting pet peeve?

My thing is when did we start measuring how good a friend someone is or how important we are to them by their response time to texts and messages? 
What I am wondering is when did it become reasonable to expect that people should respond the moment that they receive a message — even when you know they have read it, are currently online, or always have their phone handy? When did we stop respecting that we all are very busy in our "real lives" outside of smartphones and social media? Or maybe they simply don't want to talk?!
Yes, many of us are connected to our phones and we do often check and read our messages, but we may not always have the time to send the thoughtful response that we would like to. Or maybe we just don't want to reply in that moment. No. Big. Deal. 
I understand when friends take hours to reply. It doesn't mean that I don't mean that much to them or that they don't value our friendship. It just means that on some days they might just be too busy living their life - even if they are sitting scrolling Facebook on the very device I texted them on. And sorry, but I'm not sorry — no one needs to apologize for that. As a mom to a toddler, it can take me a full day to reply. 
I will say that taking days + to reply is a bit more than I'm.refering to. I have a friend who will go 2 or 3 weeks before I hear from her. But I accept it. She's as working full time mom wrangling a toddler while her husband works out of town and being 6 months pregnant. It is what it is.

Is this a romantic interest that doesn’t get back to you?
I never understood how friends didn’t get back to me sometimes for days at a time until I became a mom. Now I read messages, think I responded and will be like hmm they didn’t answer me when in reality I’m the one that never pressed send

When the person I'm messaging has horrible spelling and grammar
I'm not talking about an occasional misspelled word or some punctuation errors. I'm talking like a child got a hold of their phone/keyboard and went to town. It drives me absolutely bloody insane.

There's only one person that does it but my one friend I won't hear from for weeks which is fine I know people get busy we all have live and responsibilities what irritates me is she will reach out to me and then I'll respond and never get anything back it just baffles me

It’s definitely about priorities. I’m a mum and I still manage to text my single and non-parent friends. I try my hardest to make the effort so they don’t feel “ghosted”. I get people have things going on in their lives, and I don’t even expect a message response straight away, but I do get annoyed when I ask someone an important thing and they leave me on “read” while I can see they’re posting on their socials.
