Should I give it a chance?

So I been talking to this guy we been talking since March. I meet him and everything seems good. So he was engaged before but his fiancé passed away due to child birth last year(July) pretty recent. He has a son and everything . I really like him but I feel like he’s still grieving because he has pictures of them on his profile and social media. His parents moved in to help with his son while he goes to work. Should I give him a chance he seems like a good guy but I still feel like he’s stuck? I don’t know what to do... has anyone dealt with something like this??

He’s not “stuck,” those pictures are his family. He will always love the mother of his child. The question is are you secure enough to handle that? Because if you’re not, move on. He will always talk about her and have pictures of her around so that his son can know his mother. If you’re not okay with that, you should not be trying to date someone with a child.

Not trying to be rude but he will always have those pictures,and there is nothing wrong having memories. You can give him a chance,slowly and see how it goes.Maybe if he spends time with you he is gonna move on easier,anyway good luck 🍀

It's different when the person you love dies. It's not a divorce. They had unfinished business and he now has a son from that relationship. She will always be a huge part of his life as she is the mother of her son. Expect him to have photos of her and talk about her as death and breaking up are vastly different. I would be hesitant starting something so soon with him. But if it feels right, go ahead. But don't bring up his fiancé and their pictures togetber and ask him to remove them.

I think if you can’t handle that he’s still got those pictures it’s better to just move on. Don’t ask him to delete the pictures later because you’re feeling insecure. His child wants to see those pictures too when he grows up. It will be there forever.

She's been gone less than a year, everyone grieves differently and there's no set time for the grieving process. It would be different if they just broke up but she died while giving birth to their child that had to be very unexpected and traumatic for him. Idk how you could be jealous of the deceased mother of his child, if you can't accept that he will always care for her and she will never be forgotten ( and shouldn't be) then you should move on. If you think you can handle it then give it a try but it's pretty soon so I wouldn't jump into a relationship more like just be friends and see if a relationship is something you could handle because you have to consider he has a very young child as well, you could potentially be a step mother so you need to consider if that's something you would be interested in as well
