“Joey” as a full name for a girl?

Question

Husband and I both love the idea of calling a daughter “Joey” or “Jojo”, but I like it as a shortened nickname and he prefers as a full name. 
He has definitely confirmed he does NOT like the names Joanne, Joanna, Jolene, Joan, Joelle, etc etc. 
Thoughts? Too nicknamey for a full name? Do you know any Joeys or Jojos? Is there any truth to the perception that nicknames can god you back from being taken seriously or getting a serious job?

I'd name her a full name and use one of those for a nickname. And as someone who used to work in corporate recruiting, yes, a name can play a part in if you are taken seriously. We ran across many weird names and employers wouldn't even want to interview the person because the name was too out there or some similar reason.

I have several friends that liked the “nickname” but not the name, they both regret using the full name as they never call their children by that name and only use the nickname. Go with your gut and use whatever name you love. It doesn’t matter why anyone else has thinks it has to say about it child’s name. I do happen love using Joey as a little girls name. 💕
