This hasn’t happened to me before

I have been taking the apri birth control pill for about 4-5 years now. I take it at the exact same time every single day. I just finished the white pill week (period week) and today, my second day taking the regular red pills I am bleeding still. Its more than a few drops, a red hue and probably a bit more than the size of a quarters worth of blood. Has this happened to anyone before? My period came a bit strange too compared to usual: I started on the third white pill day with spotting and then a heavy flow. My main question is if I should be concerned as this hasn’t happened to me before and its the 2nd day starting my new pack?
