Anyone else child have this??

Question

Im juat wondering if anyone elses child has this skin condition? It has falred up badly with the hot weather. Im not sure if its just eczema, psoriasis, ringworm?? Im taking him to the doctor tomorrow. I think he also has hayfever, im not sure if they are connected.

It’s eczema.  The doctor will give you a steroid to clear it up but you probably need to switch your baby wash, lotion, and laundry detergent.  My son had bad ezcema when he was tiny and Arbonne baby or mustela for ezcema are the only 2 washes and lotions I can use on his skin.  I use honest company laundry detergent.
Side note.  Ezcema appears in a ring shape all the time, I highly doubt it’s ringworm.

There is absolutely ringworm all over the place. There may be something else going on, but take baby to the doctor. Ring worm is stupid contagious

It’s different forms of eczema. The ones that look like ringworm are called nummular eczema specifically. My three month old has eczema that I’m constantly fighting. He had the ring ones on his cheeks and I freaked out thinking it looked like ringworm but we have no pets around. Pediatrician knew immediately what it was. We do hydrocortisone cream and Aquaphor but as soon as it’s cleared up a cpl days it comes back. His is on cheeks, in neck crease, and inner elbow creases now have spots.

Just be careful if you suspect ringworm. It’s pretty contagious.
