Originally we were told by our RE that at my age (35), there was a 50/50 chance embryos would be normal. In our first retrieval 2 out of 2 were normal, so we discussed whether to bother paying the extra to genetically test our second batch. After sending off 6, 3 came back normal. I’m so glad we decided to do it!

I don’t know if they share the detail of what was genetically wrong, but it definitely gives me extra peace of mind. And in this crazy <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> world I’ll take whatever less stress/bit of comfort I can get.

Now onto FET, which frustratingly got put back from July to August 🙄
