Should I take my 10 month old to the pediatrician?

I’m a first time mom and I don’t know how serious is serious. My son had a fever this morning around 4 AM it was 101.5. I gave some medicine and it went down. At around 8 AM it was 102.1 and I went down again to 99.9 now it’s 4pm and it’s been staying at that. He’s coughing, breathing heavier (I think because congestion), runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and super fussy. He is surprisingly very playful and when I called and asked they weren’t concerned. I’m just wondering if I should because it’s about to be the weekend. It’s to late to go now but tomorrow is Friday. Or is there no point?

I would to check for ear infection. Our son doesn’t present with normal symptoms (pulling on ears, pain when laying down) when he has an ear infection, so we take him in if he has a fever combined with sinus junk since it’s all connected.

When in doubt, go. Always better to be on the safe side! And when you're there, ask the doctors when you should bring them to be seen if it ever happens again.

Personally I would take him in. It may be something you just need to wait out but especially if his breathing is different I’d take him in. It will give you peace of mind too. They always seem to get sick right before the weekend so it always stresses me out 🤣 I still feel that way and I am about to have my third.
