easy way to swallow pills 😭 please help!

so usually i can swallow pills but yesterday i got prescribed bv antibiotics twice a day for 7 days. the pills they gave me are normal size but they start dissolving on my tongue before i can even try to swallow them and they taste horrible and make me gag. yesterday i put them in a cup with pepsi because i was hoping the carbonation would help the taste but not really. does anyone have tips on how to get a pill down easier whether it be whole or put into something?
