Why the hell would my OB want to do a LEEP on me while pregnant?!!

I have cervical dysplasia, severe.

No cancer detected.

Today I got a call from my OB’s assistant and she scheduled me for beta hCG but she also said ny doctor will discuss pre operation as well and decide if she wants to do it or not.

It took me almost a year with one miscarriage to get pregnant. If this isn’t an absolute MUST, I’m not doing it.

Plus I told her I need to be under general anesthesia (I can’t keep my legs open for her ever since my traumatic biopsy, I never want that pain again)

I’m so anxious I feel like I have no control over my own body right now. If I can help it I’m waiting until I give birth.
