Resume— should I include or omit?

Question

After abruptly losing my job with no notice, what do you do in cases like this when updating your resume? Do I include it or omit it? I don’t want it to sound like I got flat-out fired, you know? 
Quick backstory, I was there 1 year and they just decided to bring someone in from regional/corporate to oversee that building and a couple others. I suppose to save the company from paying several people a salary.

Include it. When they ask why you left, confirm that your position was eliminated. There’s nothing shameful in that.

You add it. As a former HR rep in charge of hiring, it's far more suspicious seeing a big job gap than hearing the truth why you aren't employed. You add it. But doesn't mean they need to be a reference if you didn't end on good terms

Add it. Usually applications ask for the reason you left a position, so you would just put “company restructuring” or “laid off” - neither of which are in your control.

Your resume is just a document which lists your previous experience and education indicating why you are qualified for a specific job. You don’t have to specify that you got fired. If they ask you in your interview, then you mention it. DON’T do it in your resume.
