17 year old daughter is dating 27 year old sports coach at her school. Apparently he paid for an apartment for them. Report him or just have them break up
My daughter just turned 18 4 days ago and I just found out she’s been in a year and some months long relationship with a 27 year old. Yes we knew she was in a relationship with him but he lied and said he was 16 when they first started dating and we just threw a 17 year old bday party for him 5 months ago. He came over and we had a celebration for him and he even went on about colleges he was looking into and how he’s excited for high school graduation. It’s tradition at that school that parents call in and arrange for treats or balloons to be delivered to the students home room and each home room has a celebration. I wanted a photographer to come grab my daughter and her Bf and do a photo shoot but wanted to clear with the school it would be ok. So I called and I asked if they can tell me when Brent —- has home room and the front attendant had a weird pause then said sports couches don’t have home rooms. And I was like no, my daughters boyfriend Brent —- is a senior and should have home room. And the attendant said the only Brent they have by that name is a sports coach. I go in and they show me the facility roster and that is my daughters boyfriend. I brought it up to the principle and he basically brushed it off and said police would be better suited and they can’t do anything.
On top of that a month ago he was talking about because of the college he already put a deposit down on an apartment and moved in so they can live together once they graduate. So he already got them a place just she still needed to move in. Oh and he gave her a promise ring a few months ago. I feel played. Please send advice
