How long are your periods with Depo?

So I’ve been on my period now for 28 days. I’m currently on the Depo Shot and this isn’t my first round. I was on it in the past and became anemic and decided to try something else. Well 6 years later I decided to give it another try since I now have Endometriosis. The first 2 shots I had a period about every 2-3 months (2 periods in a 6 month range) now I’m coming close to a year and I’ve been told by my OBGYN that I’m anemic again. We’ve shortened my window so I’ll be getting my shots closer together. I just wanna know if anyone else has had this issue.
