8 months today and spoiled!!

Omg my baby girl is so spoiled. My boys were not as clingy as she is. She is constantly wanting held. She wont even let me out of her site to get something from the other room. She has toys, play pen, activity seat, etc. We do tummy time. She can crawl and pull up. But if my husband or I put her down she throws a fit. She got sick a couple of weeks ago. And was just wanting to be held. So now i think she is spoiled to it. I am trying to teach her differently. I put her down on her blanket or play pen to play. I will talk to her if I go to another room. I put her in her chair so she can watch me cook. And I just keep telling her she is okay. In right here. She sometimes is okay with that. But other times she screams harder to the point she chokes. Any mommy ideas on how to keep her from getting worse? I will be going back to work soon and don't want her to have separation anxiety.
