Yeast infection around implantation
I have a lovely little yeast infection around implantation time and want to treat it safely. Today is 7 DPO and it started around 6 dpo so I’m right in that time frame of implantation. Everything that comes up online about treating a YI while TTC only talks about how some YI suppository medications and creams could inhibit sperm motility. I got the yeast infection after ovulation so motility would not be a concern in this case. Anyone out there who knows anything about safely treating a YI around time of implantation?? I did see that pregnant women shouldn’t use flucanazole so I’ll just assume to be safe that one is a no!
Yeast infections aren’t a normal part of my cycle. I might get one once a year but can usually pinpoint it’s cause (on antibiotics, washing with too much soap down there, etc). This one I’m not so sure of. The only thing I did different this cycle is try mucinex during ovulation and a softcup after sex. Anyone been in the same situation or have advice? Thanks!!
