8pm Induction Process

Hi all! For those who have had their babies already and who have been induced, what do 8pm inductions look like?! I was induced with my first at 8am and had her by 10:25pm that night, but curious what happens when induced at 8pm?! Will I be expecting to have our baby by the next day or that night if things escalate quickly? Will I get to sleep that night?! Would my husband be able to drop me off (hospital is 8min away), go home to put our daughter to bed, and then come back to me without missing anything? Give me a play-by-play of your 8pm inductions!
