Has anyone had a baby that didn’t eat solids until they were older that 1? Did you have any sort of diagnosis?

My little guy is almost 11 months old and still not eating solids. He has no interest. I’ve read all the articles and tried all the tricks and he still barely puts anything to his mouth. He tried some sweet potato last night but after one bite in his mouth he gagged and threw it up. I can get him to swallow purées but I have to shove it in his mouth because he doesn’t want to eat it. I do plan on speaking with his doctor about it but I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. My first son started eating chicken and enchiladas and everything under the sun by the time he was 8 months old so I feel lost! Thanks.
