Anterior placenta ? When did you feel your baby move

Hi Guys had a 16 week scan and was told I had an anterior placenta so up front which means I would likely feel movement later than other mamas, this is my first pregnancy so when did people start feeling movement etc ? I’m so excited I really want to feel baby move! Our scan was also amazing couldn’t believe how clear it was !

I was about 17/18 weeks when I felt movement with my first and had an anterior placenta. Everyone is different. And those weren’t super strong feelings, just the little flutters. I’m 16 weeks with my second and don’t have an anterior placenta and I started feeling flutters at like 12ish weeks.

My first i had an anterior placenta. I didnt really feel much until about 22 ish weeks

My first and this pregnancy both have anterior placentas. With my first I felt flutters around 17E and kicks around 22-24W. With this one I’m 19.3W and I’ve only felt flutters with a few real kicks. I started feeling flutters around 14W.

24 weeks!  To be fair though she was a bum in the uterus. Hardly EVER moved. Never passed the kick counts. So I think that was a prior baby thing and not an anterior placenta thing. (She is now SUPER active and hitting all her milestones). I’ve got a posterior placenta this time and have been having more regular flips since 17 weeks. But again, may just have a more active baby!

17 weeks here. Still waiting. Third baby and my previous all had placenta previa in the beginning, so it’s strange.

Anterior placenta here with 2/3 of my pregnancies. Both tomes I haven’t felt much until 18 weeks. I’m 20 weeks now and definitely feel baby move, but still mostly only when I’m lying down and completely still.

Hi! I'm 18 weeks with an anterior placenta and haven't really felt the baby kick yet. It's more like he gives dull pushes 😅 Because it's my first pregnancy, I've asked my doctor when to expect feeling him kick and she said it's more likely around 20 weeks, especially with an anterior placenta. She also said that the baby doesn't have enough strength yet to really push his kicks all the way through the amniotic fluid for me to feel. But I'm very excited and impatient to feel the first real kicks!
