how to say youre mot interested without seeming like u cant afford it 🤔

I was looking for someone to mow my grass & a guy I know came to look at it to give me a estimate, hes just getting started with his new side business and his price was kind of higher than ai would like to pay. I told him I would talk to my husband and get back with him so I wouldn’t have to give a direct no answer to his face. He seems pretty eager and will probably message me asking.. i dont know what i should say to make me not seem like his price was too much or something

any advice??
