are my pills still effective?

I accidentally left my wallet outside my house on a picnic table during a big storm. My birth control pills, in a sleeve and in their case, were inside that wallet. I found my wallet and the casing outside of the pills got wet. It doesn’t look like the pills are damaged. Are they still effective? They weren’t in any extreme heat and like I said they were in my wallet, in a cardboard casing, and are still in their respective pockets.
