I need some advice…Fear of losing my job

So I am now 7 weeks and I’ve been diagnosed with HG and had to be hospitalized for a few days last week. I spoke to the CEO at my job and he had the nerve to tell me that if I’m sick I need to use my sick time. I was merely requesting to work from home the entire week instead of just 3 days a week which is what our schedule has been since May. Now other than constantly puking I can still do my job duties as a case manager. So I’ve been showing up to work puking and disrupting the office all for them to send me home. I don’t know how to handle this situation because I can’t afford to just stay home and not be paid. We worked from home for over a year so it’s really no big deal for me to work from home. When I said I had a doctors appointment on June 28th he said “ well that’s still TWO weeks away” he made it seem like I needed to go sooner to provide a note. He wants my doctor to say that I can’t work smdh. I really don’t need this stress
