Anyone help pls

So I have herpes down there and my bf since December has been with me n we’ve always had unprotected sex. He knows I have it I’ve told him since the start n he’s always been ok with it. He wants to get tested now bc his penis has been itchy n tingly. He has no insurance tho n is struggling right now so he has no money n if I had enough I would give him some but I’m struggling too 😭 is there anyway he can get tested for free.? We live in TX. I’m actually going today to get retested for stds since last time it was only for herpes. I do have insurance he doesn’t. If I have anything would my dr be able to prescribe him something too.? Or does he have to get tested in order to get the meds.
