Has anyone gotten a BFP with DH low sperm count?

My DH just took a test and he's low in sperm count!

IUI is cheaper, yes. However I don't think IUI is best for male infertility factor and doing it several times adds up fast... We had IVF ICSI due to severe male infertility. Cost us 6000, one try and we now have a heslthy 2 year old plus 5 frozen fertilized embryos in storage. We are trying naturally until AUG before turning to our frozen eggs. We are using preseed and soft cups and keeping our fingers crossed that his sperm issues have improved in the past 2 years.

I have heard before that the home sperm testing kits aren't very accurate, and have heard of some men having a low count on one, to then be told by their doctor they have a very normal count. So definitely see your doctor for a second opinion. GL

Many fertility OBs recommend doing IUI or IVF. IUI is much cheaper. It costs around $600 USD and IVF can cost any where from $5,000 to $15,000 USD.  Not many health insurances cover for fertility treatments so it depends how far you are willing to go.

I did but unfortunately miscarried in November. His count is 16mill and it should be >20mill. His motility was also low. We will now try preSeed and  BD every other day to allow his count to build up

We took one of thoes test I got it walgreens and it was about 30 dollars and it showed he had a low sperm count so he doesn't want to see a doctor nor keep trying it really sucks but just gotta keep faith

I agree with you, it takes away grow making a baby.. We are going to see a doctor as soon as possible, it's so hard tho because he works weeks at a time away from home. We been TTC for over a yr and a half with no luck! My DH is taking vitamins to help his sperm count. And we been trying that preseed and soft cups this cycle. How much does it cost to have dh get a sperm count test? And who can we ask about it? My obgyn? Or does it have to be a fertility dr?
