Clicking noise from baby?

Baby boy is 2 days old and he randomly does a clicking noise when sleeping. Only when his mouth is open and sounds like it’s coming from the back of his throat. Any mamas know what it could be? I was thinking he may end up being a snorer.

Yes my baby does this constantly and stresses me out 😂

Congratulations on your baby boy! 💚 My daughter did this early on, it was just normal developmental sounds.  Sometimes they still have some growing to do in their lungs, bellies, etc. My daughter also made a squeaking sound when she nursed.  It should go away!

Congratulations!! It could also be a high palate related to a tongue tie. My son had a severe tongue tie and made clicking sounds when nursing and sleeping. My LC also recommended to close my babies mouth to help “soften” his palate. Worth checking out if you’re able to. :-)
