Dealing with miscarriage...
I'm new to this app and ttc. I'm 27 y.o. Who just recently got divorced. I was with my husband for 7.5 years and we tried for a whole year to get pregnant without any success. Discovered he had low testosterone, sperm count, & ED issues. I've been with my boyfriend now for over a year and I found out I was pregnant in October. It wasn't planned, I had lost my birth control (I accidentally threw it away) and they told me I'd have to pay 80$ for it so I said the heck with that! I literally didn't have it for 3 weeks and ended up pregnant. Anyways, I found out I was pregnant and then miscarried a few days later. It was pretty traumatic but it all happened so fast! I'm an ER nurse, so I see this often but experiencing it myself was very hard. I didn't tell many people because I just don't want to relive that over and over but since that has happened, I have had what seems like an abnormally frequent amount of women who are pregnant and bleeding/cramping and ultimately miscarrying .... It's breaking my heart! I truly hurt for these people now and it's like I keep getting them and have to be present when the doctor breaks the awful news! Idk, maybe there's a reason for it all! Maybe God is using me to help these people. But watching couples and women cry after the news is one of the worst things I've ever had to do.
I feel like there was a reason for this all, if nothing else it was God telling me "hey, it's not you...you CAN get pregnant!" My boyfriend and I decided that I would stay off my medications I was taking that aren't pregnancy safe and also not restart my birth control ... In hopes of getting pregnant and having a healthy pregnancy! Now I'm nervous it may happen again! I'm trying to be strong and stay positive but sometimes it's all a little overwhelming!
