Baby Eczema

Hi all,

My son has patches of severe dry skin/eczema on his body that doesn’t seem to fully go away. I’ve even switched out different detergent when washing his clothes and sheets. A coworker mentioned their infant had the same issue and their doctor recommended Penaten. I’ve lathered on Penaten and it seems to help it tremendously but doesn’t fully go away. I’ll admit after a few days I stop using the cream and he’s fine for a couple of weeks but then always comes back. I’ve used Sudocrem and Vaseline and seem to get the same results, gets better but not rid of it.

Just curious if anyone else had these same issues with their baby? My son is 7 months old and has been happening since he’s 2 months old, on and off. I’m waiting to see my son’s doctor but thought I would ask for advice from you guys in the meantime.
