Extremely confused

Extremely confused is and understatement for how I’m feeling at the moment. I am currently 5w3d. I thought I miscarried on Father’s Day as I had bright red, heavy bleeding with a few small clots. Has labs done on 6/23 that showed my levels were at 2788. Had an u/s on 6/25 and saw a sac measuring right on time at 4w6d. Labs again same day came back at only 2833 so only an increase of 55. Had to wait all weekend for the doc to call yesterday. He told me to prepare for miscarriage but to come in today for another set of labs. I started bleeding very heavily again last night with more large clots so I figured this was the end of it all only to go in today and have my labs come back at 4358! So now I’m impatiently waiting until I hear from my doctor tomorrow. Anyone else gone through anything similar? What was the outcome?
