Formula feeding from the start? (Description)
I have been breastfeeding my 22 month old daughter since she was born and she hasn’t weaned yet. But now that I am almost 12 weeks pregnant with my second child, my husband and I are really considering just formula feeding from the start as breastfeeding has been such a commitment for me the first go around. I feel as if I’ve got my fill with breastfeeding, which is a really selfish way to feel.
I feel that once baby is born I will breastfeed them directly after delivery and then here and there to get the early benefits of breastfeeding, but I don’t want the commitment of having to exclusively pump, but still want others to be able to feed the baby. Am I selfish or wrong for wanting to give my second baby formula after a little bit?
Please be kind. 🖤
