Someone help!!

My babydaddy had half of his left kidney removed when he was younger cause he had fluid in his kidneys. He said recently his kidney has been hurting so he pressed down on the wound and he said warm and sticky fluid came out and he won’t tell anyone and is refusing to go to the hospital. WTF what could that possibly mean ? Could his wound have opened or something. I told him that it is NOT normal and he needs to go to the hospital but he doesn’t want to.
