My housemate keeps telling me everything I do is weird, is this thing I did today (see description) weird?

Question

I’m really self conscious. 
My housemate was watching me secretly when I received a parcel this morning. I didn’t know what the parcel was an was eager to open it so I was kneeling on the bottom step of the stairs to open my parcels.
He said I’m super weird and do weird things and that opening it on the stairs was strange when I could have just taken it to open it in my room
I’m self conscious what other things I do that people think are weird

To me it’s super weird that he’s watching you and fixating out how you do things to the point of judging how you use your hands. Everyone moves and does things a little different, some people have more unique ways than others but that’s okay. 
It can be hard not to worry what other people think sometimes but try to remember that people who judge you have things they do that are weird too, and this housemate is a perfect example of someone who is not only being very weird himself but also rude an ill-mannered to be pointing out what he thinks is odd about you. Your “weird” is just different. His is creepy and actually bothersome to others. Big difference. Like, “I’m sorry. I think you momentarily forgot your manners sir. Would you like to retract that comment and try better speech?” 
I know I’m a weird person and I don’t mind it at all. If I were “normal” like some people think I should be life would be dull and unfulfilling for me. You do you, and you’re happy and the way you do things harms none then you’re perfect as you are!
