What should I do? 😫 (please read)

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 7 years, since we were 15. In that whole time, I have NEVER let him see me fully without makeup. He’s seen me with minimal makeup, but never full on without. I even sleep in my makeup when I spend the night with him. And we have seen each other practically everyday for 7 years. I look like a completely different person with & without makeup, I’m extremely ugly without it whereas with it I’m pretty. I have blonde short eyelashes, blonde eyebrows, small hooded eyes without eyeliner and mascara, and a splotchy red face without foundation. 
Well I had to take a shower at his house and it’s almost midnight. The shower washed all my makeup off so now I’m faced with the choice of walking out and letting him see me without makeup for the first time, or putting makeup on before bed. I’m terrified he will be shocked and not love me anymore since I will look completely different (i am not exaggerating, I truly look like a different person without makeup). What should I do?

This is NO way to live! One, it's not sustainable nor healthy for you. Ans it's Linda deceptive to him as well. But he's kind of lame if he doesn't think you'll look different without makeup and hasn't suspected that you always wear it. So I say LIBERATE yourself and rock the no makeup. If he doesn't love you based on your looks, well then you know he never truly loved you. And I DOUBT that would happen hun!!! He loves YOU. Not your face full of makeup. Own the skin you're in babe! You're beautiful.

I have also been with my partner for 7, almost 8 years. I have PCOS and grow facial hair. Not like a few chin hairs, but a full on beard starting from my side burns all the way down to my throat. And I have coarse black hair. It is something I’m very self conscience about and only a few really close people to me know. I spent the first 3 years of my life with him and always wearing make up and keeping it hidden. Until one day we had date night and I was home getting ready, in the bathroom, with my face lathered up shaving like a grown man would and he showed up unannounced and popped his head into the bathroom and caught me mid shave. I was absolutely mortified and just knew he was going to break up with me. That sweet man looked at me and said “Just thought I’d come a little earlier to surprise you, let me know when you’re finished getting ready” and walked out and waited in the living room. It was such a moment of relief for me. If he truly loves you, he will love you for exactly who you are and exactly how you come. Every single bit of you. I couldn’t imagine spending the last 5 years with him still constantly trying to hide parts of me that are simply that, a part of me.

Your face probably looks splotchy because of all the makeup you wear and never take off....
Also break up if you’re this terrified he’ll see you as you are. This seems extremely unhealthy and also toxic for both of you. You actively conceal your physical appearance because of his presence and he doesn’t know what it’s about...

If after 7 years he only “loves” you for your makeup, your relationship is doomed anyway. 
This is no way to live. If you move in together, or start a family, he will see you at your absolute worst at some point.

You cannot have a full healthy long term relationship with someone you won’t even let see your face. If you can’t trust him to see your face, your relationship is seriously unhealthy. Do you really see a way to live with someone? To spend your life with them? And have them never see your face??? Thats not a realistic expectation.

You can live your relationship ship off of a lie of what you look like , I’m pretty sure you “being ugly” is in your head. Seek counseling so you can learn ways to love yourself without makeup . This isn’t healthy

If he doesn’t love you without makeup, 7 years or not, he doesn’t deserve you. I did the same thing for the first few months dating my now husband but when we started spending the night I let makeup slide. And I learned that her prefers no makeup. 
After all this time I’m sure it’s hard but make the jump! No makeup!

Well if one of the choices is to put makeup on before bed..Isn’t that one of your usual choices? Seems like part of you WANTS to be your true self. It’s not good to wear makeup all the time..your skin needs to breathe! You probably spend a lot of money too. Your bf LOVES YOU. A lot of guys prefer natural looks. You definitely need to liberate yourself. Wearing makeup is fine but it shouldn’t control you like this. You aren’t going to be able to control your makeup all the time. Free yourself.
