Anyone suffer with hallucinations ??

I’m on quitapine tablets been taking them for 2 days but still having hallucinations????

Medication takes longer than 2 days to be effective. Give it more time

It will definitely take time for your body to adjust. Just be patient and report anything you’re concerned about to your dr so they can keep track. They will better know how to help you too whether it’s med increase or med change, etc

Sounds super tough ! I recommended you Book in with your (preferably) psychiatrist and discuss your distress re ongoing symptoms - irrespective of medication effectiveness, mental health clinicians are there to also help you around the distress whilst you adjust/monitor the meds. If your symptoms get worse, go to a hospital if you can

I suffered with hearing hallucinations, and I took Abilify for 2 years, and they stopped almost immediately probably in one or two weeks. Now I'm off my medication and luckily I'm not experiencing any. Anyway if you are unsure talk to your doctor and see what medication is best for your case. Good luck 🤞🏽
