Is it bad !??

Question

So My mother in law keeps telling me not to let my baby do certain things. My baby was wanting to sit up by 1 month and so she started sitting assisted by 2 months and at 3 months she was sitting by herself! Now she just turned 4 months this week she’s wanting to stand , of course with assistance. My mother in law keeps telling me not to let her that it’s bad for her legs and I get what she’s coming at but I’m not forcing her to it’s my daughter that was wanting to sit and now wanting to stand. Have any of you mommas baby was like this !?? Did you let them do things so early ? I know every baby is different which is why I don’t think it’s bad that she’s doing it so early. 
Also not sure if this is the correct group to put it in , if not please lmk below what group for next time !

I'd ask the pediatrician If it's bad my girl started standing at 7 months never heard it starting at 4 though so I'd ask just to be sure her legs are strong enough for it

You can let her do what she wants. Bit if you assist her- you speed up the process which shouldn't be speeded up. She learns faster but her muscles and bones are not ready for it

If your baby is truly leading the way in these things, it’s fine. I’d highly recommend looking at “the movement mama” on Instagram for tips and milestone info for babies. It helped me with my son so much.

I don’t see why you should stop your baby from doing something that she is showing signs of being ready for.  I would just suggest that you be sure to hold her by the waist rather than pulling on her arms or holding her under the shoulders.  I al not an expert by any means but I know that can cause a strain on the many or dislocate a shoulder of you pull by the arms.  I know you didn’t say that you do that but just wanted to make sure you know.
Anyway, let your baby lead the way and it’s on to encourage her to do things if she is ready.

Our baby was the same..sitting unassisted 3.5-4 months. Crawling by 5 and walking/running by 8ish. We just asked her doctor and she said as long as it is baby wanting to do them then it is fine just don't force it. We followed her lead and let her due everything at her own pace...her pace was just that she had places she wanted to go haha. Just ask your doc but this was the same as my 1st baby. I hope your baby slows it down...walking 8 month olds are a challenge. They have zero concept of fear or self preservation. Very very stressful haha

My son was standing really early, he also sat up really early. I just let him do what he was ready for and didnt force anything

My kid wanted to stand (with help) by 8 weeks. Its a myth that it bends their bones. Its really good for their leg strength
