Would you change departments (jobs) at your current company for a $1.82 raise?

I declined the offer because it ended up being the same amount because in my current position I work overtime and holidays so it increases my income. I don't mind working them so I figured it wasn't worth changing positions. The salary they were offering was way below the salary at other companies for the same position.

Answer

It depends on how different the jobs are and how long I've been in my current position. I would say yes if it were based solely on the money but there are a lot of other factors that would play into my decision.
