Conversation ideas for a long car ride with step mum

So me and my step mum have only recently started getting along really well so it can be hard for us to keep a conversation going as before that we never chatted. I am going on a trip with her and the car ride is something I’m a little worried about as I feel like I’m going to run out of things to talk about with her really quickly. So is there any good conversation starters you guys have that I could use as then I can just easily make conversation once we have gained some momentum but I find it hard to just start it off 😂
