Breakup help?

I’ve recently been broken up with by my boyfriend of over a year, and I’m devastated beyond anything I’ve ever felt. I really want him back but I know that’s not going to happen so does anyone have any advice over how to get over it? Ive been crying none stop and just overall not coping, any advice will help. Thank you

Do some self care and focus on you. Think of it as this relationship has changed you and you have learned more for your next relationship. It’s gonna hurt a lot for a while but at the end of the day you broke up with him for a reason.

It’s okay to cry and be upset. You don’t need to feel okay to be coping well. It’s okay to not be okay.
If you’re still checking up on him or looking at old pictures, I suggest stopping that. Go cold turkey with anything relating to him. It will hurt more upfront, but be better in the long run. Don’t answer texts from him, don’t text him. 
Be gentle with yourself and let yourself hurt. It’s going to be okay.
