My partner and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 months now with no joy. I really hoped that this month we had hit the jackpot as we did the deed (so to speak) in the days leading up to ovulation and during when egg white was present but this morning my period started leaving me feeling disappointed and heartbroken yet again :( We're both in our early thirties and fairly fit & healthy. I was on the pill for 15 years prior to ttc and the first few months after coming off were very up & down with periods as they would vary anything between 24-37 days! They are a lot more settled at around 28 days now and I feel I have a better understanding of my body, I just can't help but feel frustrated as I really expected to have fallen pregnant by now. Am I being too optimistic? Is there anyone with a similar issue?
