Prodromal Labor 3 days 3 cm

Hey all! Aug 1st mama here tomorrow I will be 37 weeks. I have been in what the doctors are calling prodromal labor on day 3 now. Contractions have been non stop regularly varying from 3-6 minutes apart. This is my second so I know the contractions need to get more painful but they have not stopped and are about a 6/10 on pain meter. My doctor had me go to l&d yesterday to get checked. I was 1 cm when I got there and then an hour later 3 cm, but after 4 hours I was still at a 3. They monitored my contractions and baby. Contractions did not stop the entire time so they want me to stay close to the hospital. Baby’s heart rate was fine entire time. I am okay with her cooking a bit longer but my body is EXHAUSTED. TMI Lots of mucus and blood tinged mucus coming out just wondering in my mind how much longer this “false labor” can last. I am trying to go natural again like I did with my son but I am seriously pooped. Anyone experience this in a previous pregnancy? Everyone told me your second “flies out of you” but I am obviously experiencing the opposite. Advice welcome and thank you for letting me RANT about this LOL
