BLEEDING AFTER EXAM

Hey! I’m 8+5 and yesterday we saw our baby, heartbeat of 178 and measuring right on track to the day. Everything looked great! I then had a pap and cervical exam, which I guess is normal for my first official pregnancy visit. However when I woke up this morning there was a LOT of blood. In my opinion anyway. Went into my panties and it’s bright red. When I wiped there was more every time, and two small clots as well. Now when I wipe it’s just spotting but still bright red. I called my Dr who said not to worry it might be from the exam…. Has anyone else had this happen and had it turn out ok?? Please let me know I’m freaking out!!!
