Sleep paralysis after acid trip

So about 2 days after doing acid I experienced a nightmare/sleep paralysis

I don’t want to hear it about the acid, I work 50 hours a week and pay my bills and if I want to have a trip I will. It was so much, that is something I’d do probably once every few years like holy crap, but the trip was fine, I didn’t have a bad trip at all. But the nightmares afterwards? I never have nightmares and this one was so bad I thought I was screaming but I wasn’t. I was screaming in my head. I felt trapped, I was awake but dreaming and I couldn’t move and all I could do was close my eyes really tight. I’ve never experienced sleep paralysis before in my life. All I remember is fear, I don’t remember the actual nightmare but I remember being very scared and unable to do anything but close my eyes.

Is this normal? Is this a side effect of taking acid? Keep in mind this was 2 days after so I was completely sober
