Induction advice

Hi everyone! I just got my induction scheduled due to preeclampsia.

I’m schedule July 26th. My doctor said we’ll start with cervidil that evening then the next morning start pitocin. Has anyone been through this process before? I’m a FTM so I’m clueless.

How long did it take for this to kick in for everyone?

Were you in labor for several days?

Any advice or experience is appreciated 😊
