Should dads shower with daughters ? If you think he’s at what age is in inappropriate

A friend of mine sent me a screenshot of her conversation with her ex and father of her child where she politely asked him to stop showering with their daughter Because her daughter started to say things like “daddy has a long pee pee and it’s so different than mine “ their daughter is 5. To me it seems inappropriate now. Not that I think he’s a weirdo or anything but since she’s asking questions and my friend is uncomfortable with it. Let me know what you guys think and I will pass it on to her.

At 5, there’s no real reason for them to shower together in my eyes. She is old enough to take a bath or shower alone while he supervises. 
I don’t personally think it’s appropriate at 5 to shower with adults (whether it’s a boy or girl) even if it was his son and not daughter I would feel it’s inappropriate. Like the dads dick is straight in the kids face. They can shower separately. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter on a playground- when she was 2,3yo- loud and clear: "Daddy has a penis!" 🙂 🤣🤣🤣 
I think if dad or daughter feel uncomfortable- they should stop. 
If mom feels uncomfortable- she shouldn't shower with her daughter. 
I just recommend using "normal" names for penis and vagina.

My husband and I will shower with our kids as long as they want us to be with them. My 4 year old is now in a phase where he is ‘so big’ so he wants to be alone lol. I just stand there bored 🤣 No age limit. We’re gonna teach our kids what they have (penis and vagina) no nicknames. If needed, we will use shorts or something but I don’t find it necessary. 
If it was the dad saying to not shower with the daughter, she’d probably be throwing a little fit.

That's just an age appropriate question. My son is almost 5 and asked why his sister who is 3 doesn't get the option to stand up to pee. After my husband explained the body parts, my son says, "I stand up because I have a long penis." 🙄 I don't think that's how daddy explained it... 
As far as showering, we all shower together, except my husband because HE is uncomfortable that they are now at the height of his penis and I think he has this fear of turning too fast and whipping them in the face or something, lol. Regardless, that his comfort level and his choice. Neither of us think its inappropriate generally.

My daughter and husband can shower together until he or she is uncomfortable with it. I showered with my mom til like 7 or 8 so I don’t see why it’s weird to do that with dads. Eventually we will get them to do it on their own just so they know how to correctly clean themselves by themselves. It’s also advised to start slowly weaning them because most kids at 5 won’t know how to correctly clean themselves. 
My daughter also knows the correct words for anatomy, so that’s something you can pass along to your friend as it’s very important to not use pet names for our body parts.

Shower as long as you want. Mornings are a rush so often I'll throw the toddler in with my husband while I get us ready for daycare/work, much quicker than giving her a bath.
